Receptionist – Be the First Impression at O’Brien Auto Team


Location: Bloomington-Normal, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | Daytime Hours | Some Saturdays may be required

What You’ll Do


As a Receptionist, you’ll be the face of our dealership — greeting customers with a smile, supporting our team with essential administrative tasks, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Your professionalism and attention to detail will make a lasting impression.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Greet and welcome customers, providing a warm, professional first impression.

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, offering helpful information and routing inquiries.

  • Announce and direct guests to the appropriate departments or team members.

  • Support office operations with clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, and data entry.

  • Maintain dealership security by following established procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.

  • Assist with cashiering duties and provide excellent customer service during transactions.

Qualifications:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Friendly, positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional service.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

  • Previous receptionist, cashier, or office experience preferred (automotive or accounting experience a plus).
