O'Brien Auto Team is looking for a dependable, energetic Automotive Porter to help keep our dealership running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and likes being on the move throughout the day.

What You'll Do

• Prepare new, used, and service vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display.


• Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership and maintain an organized lot.


• Keep inventory clean, properly parked, and presentation-ready.


• Assist with vehicle deliveries and transfers between departments as needed.


• Run occasional errands or pick up parts, paperwork, or vehicles.


• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership appearance.


• Work closely with the sales and service teams to support daily operations.


• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Safe, responsible driving habits and the ability to operate vehicles with care.


• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.


• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.


• Team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.


• Ability to stay organized and pay attention to detail.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• High school diploma or GED required.

Automotive experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

This position is active and involves both indoor and outdoor work.

Candidates should be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.


• Frequently bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and climb in and out of vehicles.


• Work comfortably in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.


• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.


• Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
