  • Credentialing Timeline: 30 -60 Days


REQUIRED PROCEDURES



  • Deliveries (C -section/vaginal)

  • Gynecological surgeries




JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Board: Board Certified OBGYN – BC [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or Board Eligible accepted if on staff at another Joint Commission hospital without monitoring

  • Licenses: Active CA License – [REQUIRED]

  • DEA: Active DEA Certification [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

  • Certifications: BLS, NRP/PALS [HIGHLY PREFERRED] must have during credentialing

  • Experience: Completed residency in OB GYN [REQUIRED]

  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background [HIGHLY PREFERRED]; Local provider, no flights [HIGHLY PREFERRED]; Self -Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation [REQUIRED]


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Provide full scope OB GYN care

  • Cover 24 -hour call for OB and Gyn ED

  • Perform deliveries including C -sections and vaginal deliveries

  • Perform gynecological surgeries

  • Respond to emergency calls within 20 minutes
