SPECIFIC SHIFTS TO FILL
  • September 10, 14 (5pm-7am)
  • September 18-20 (24-hour shifts)
  • September 22, 23 (5pm-7am)
  • Additional dates needed each month through December
PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: OB/GYN patients, including high-risk antepartum
  • Average Daily Volume: Not specified
  • Admissions: 2-3/day
  • Rounding: Assigned Patients
  • Phone Consults: 3-5/day
  • Case Mix: OB/GYN, High-risk pregnancies, Level 3 NICU
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR: Epic
  • Specialty Backup Available: MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) on campus
  • Support Staff: RNs: 3-5, Office Staff: 2
  • NICU Level: III
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: No
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Required:
    • Low risk pregnancy
    • High risk pregnancy
    • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
    • OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
    • Level I/Screening (viability)
    • Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
    • Amniocentesis
    • Routine delivery
    • Vaginal
    • Low forceps
    • Decision-making for c-section
    • Complicated delivery
    • C-section
    • Breech
    • Multiple births
    • Abruptions
    • VBAC's
    • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Preferred:
    • Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation
    • Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE
  • Licenses: Active ID or IMLC
  • Fellowship: Preferred
Duties & Responsibilities​
  • Provide call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services
  • Manage high-risk antepartum patients
  • Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
  • Supervise family medicine residents in OB/GYN patient management
  • Perform deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and related procedures
