We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will help patients recover, improve mobility, and manage pain through personalized rehabilitation programs. You will work with patients who have various injuries or conditions affecting their movement and physical capabilities, creating treatment plans tailored to individual's needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical condition through comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent disability.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound, heat, or cold therapy.
- Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Stay updated on the latest practices and techniques in physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree in Occupational / Physical Therapy degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid New Jersey state Occupational Therapist license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 -3 years of experience in outpatient or inpatient physical therapy settings.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
