Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school -based occupational therapy services to students with disabilities at a school in Greenville, South Carolina. The Occupational Therapist will conduct educationally based evaluations, provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP/504 plan, collaborate with school -based teams, supervise COTAs as assigned, and support the District’s occupational therapy program in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and District policies.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapy License
• Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Minimum of three years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy
Responsibilities
• Provide educationally based occupational therapy evaluations to students across school locations
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with each student’s IEP
• Assist in the development and implementation of IEP/504 plans for students with occupational therapy needs
• Collaborate with IEP team members to support student progress toward IEP goals
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Complete required documentation in compliance with AOTA standards, South Carolina licensure requirements, Medicaid requirements, and District procedures
• Provide school teams with knowledge and consultation regarding school -based occupational therapy services
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to assigned OT/OTA college students, as applicable
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), as assigned
• Coordinate with the Lead Occupational Therapist and Director of Related Services and Program Support regarding service delivery, student needs, and program expectations
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with all District policies, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations
