About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive educational organization in Stafford County, Virginia to welcome a full-time Occupational Therapist for an immediate opening through May 27. Stafford County has consistently signaled a need for in-person OTs, making this an opportunity to provide meaningful occupational therapy services directly within a school setting.

School placement and grade level will be confirmed during the interview process based on the district’s current needs and the OT’s experience and interests.

What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting

  
  


• 
  

  Support students in developing the skills needed to participate successfully in the educational environment

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct evaluations and contribute to student goals and intervention planning

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Provide recommendations and strategies to support student access and participation in the classroom

Qualifications

• 
  

  Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  
  


• 
  

  Active Virginia Occupational Therapy License

  
  


• 
  

  Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively within a school-based team

  
  


• 
  

  Commitment to supporting student success and participation in the educational environment
