Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats patients across the lifespan to restore function, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life. This role collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time


• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (40 hours/week)


• Department: Rehabilitation Services


• Travel: None required


• Supervisory Responsibilities: None


• Compensation: Commensurate with experience


• Schedule Notes: Occasional evenings or weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, activities of daily living (ADLs), and rehabilitation needs


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans


• Guide patients through therapeutic interventions and recovery processes


• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams


• Recommend and design adaptive equipment and therapeutic strategies


• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care techniques


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation


• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina


• Certification: CPR certification – required


• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program – preferred

Employment Requirements
