Occupational Therapy Assistant -PRN

HTS is now searching for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at a continuing care retirement community centrally located near charming East Grand Rapids and Eastown neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The OTA in this position will treat patients on an as needed, PRN basis.  This is a genuine PRN (as-needed) position, meaning that the coverage required will primarily be for vacations and other planned time off. The nature of this role is designed to provide flexibility and support to our team during periods when regular staff members are unavailable. As such, we are looking for individuals who are adaptable and willing to step in as needed, ensuring that our operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This arrangement allows for a dynamic work schedule, where you can choose to accept shifts based on your availability, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking supplementary work or a more flexible employment option.

Applicants must have active Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Michigan license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam.  These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
