Off-Duty Police Officers

Cognizance Protection Company is seeking qualified, professional police officers to provide security coverage throughout the Baltimore region. This opportunity is ideal for active law enforcement officers looking to earn additional income while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Selected officers will be responsible for providing a visible security presence, protecting personnel and property, and responding to incidents as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at assigned locations.
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor site activity.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce site-specific security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and communicate with management as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be an active, sworn law enforcement officer in good standing.
• Must have authorization from their department to perform off-duty employment.
• Must possess a valid law enforcement ID and any required certifications.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to accept shifts throughout the Baltimore region.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
