Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
KLS Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced and professional Office Assistant for a confidential client in the Decatur area. This position is located within a Medical Examiner Office and requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality. We are looking for an individual available for an immediate hire.
Main Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for the office, managing phone lines and assisting visitors.
Perform high-volume data entry and maintain organized filing systems for sensitive records.
Draft, scan, and distribute official reports, forms, and correspondence.
Ensure all outgoing documentation is accurate and contains necessary authorizations.
Assist with daily office logistics, including mail distribution and supply inventory.
Support departmental operations through meeting scheduling and log maintenance.
Handle all tasks with a high degree of discretion and professional conduct.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of administrative or clerical experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Superior organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a professional presence.
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
Must be available to begin work immediately.
