POSITION DETAILS:

Job Type: Part time

Pay Range: $22.00- $26.00

FLSA: Hourly, non-exempt

Schedule: Mon,Wed,Fri

Location: Stamford, CT

 

WHAT WE WILL EXPECT FROM YOU

A key responsibility of this role is ensuring the office environment remains organized, welcoming, and fully functional for employees and visitors. You will take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep of the office, including common areas, meeting rooms, kitchen spaces, office plants, and general cleanliness, while coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed to maintain a professional and productive workplace.

Responsibilities:


  • Act as the office liaison for property management issues: maintenance requests, heat/AC, office cleaning etc.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers for the office.

  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Manage FedEx account and create/send shipments as required.

  • Scan, copy, print, proofread, and other administrative, document-related functions.

  • Manage office and kitchen supplies and place supplies orders as needed. Ensure the office is stocked with refreshments for employees.

  • Ensure office space, kitchen, and meeting rooms are always presentable and cleaned.

  • Manage conference room reservations, coordinate with meeting organizers if necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in an office administration, office coordinator, workplace experience, administrative assistant, or similar role.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach.

  • Experience coordinating with vendors, service providers, and building/property management teams preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of office presentation and cleanliness.

  • Ability to perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting packages, stocking supplies, or moving office materials (up to 40 lbs.).


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally stand or walk. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing. Visual acuity required for reading, computer work, and reviewing documents. Occasionally required to lift or move office materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
