On-Call Testing Coordinator

Summary

Skidmore College’s Learning Commons is seeking dependable, organized individuals to provide on-call support in the Testing Center during busy testing periods, including midterms, final exams, and other high-volume days throughout the semester.

This is a flexible, on-call position with no regular weekly schedule. Hours are based on Testing Center needs. The position may be especially appealing to retired educators or others interested in occasional work in a college setting.

Primary Job Duties

• checking students in and out of exams, 


• preparing and managing testing materials, 


• monitoring testing rooms, and 


• helping maintain a quiet, organized testing environment. 

Qualifications 

Education: Two years of college or the equivalent of an Associate’s degree, along with experience working in a setting where organization, accuracy, and attention to detail are important. 

Experience: Experience in education, student services, testing, or administrative support is preferred. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Salary: $18.00 per hour
