Job Summary and Responsibilities






Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Pivotal Role in Growing Cancer Care Network 

 

As our Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you will join a growing practice within Dignity Health Medical Group Bakersfield, playing a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our comprehensive oncology care network.

You will provide expert comprehensive oncology care within a 100% outpatient model, working alongside a dynamic and collaborative team of tenured and respected oncology specialists. Your contributions will be key in developing patient pathways, optimizing care delivery, and ensuring a compassionate environment where every patient story matters, making a significant impact on patients' lives.

To be successful in this role, you will be a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of oncology clinical experience, eager to practice in a setting that actively shapes care delivery through team collaboration. We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires: A competitive earnings package ranging from $160,000 – $180,000, which includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and a CME allowance.









Job Requirements






  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Completion of state mandated educational courses
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • At least one year of clinical experience
