The Warehouse Team Member Level 2 safely and accurately fills orders via receiving, replenishing, picking and loading product into trucks in a frozen warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate forklift moves, picked orders, meeting set performance rates per hour, and ensuring product integrity and quality standards are met throughout the entire process.
Role and Activity
Perform all required procedures and documentation safely and efficiently to maintain the highest quality finished product for our customers.
Follow safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the warehouse safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
Work closely with sales to deliver exceptional customer service.
Ability to learn inventory and tracking systems, including computerized systems, RF units and scanners.
Mechanical ability and understanding are required, including current knowledge or ability to learn general warehouse equipment (electric pallet jacks, Dock loaders, forklifts).
Maintain performance expectations with respect to key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve the Warehouse operations.
Accurately and efficiently receive and replenish finished product in warehouse based on our item numbers, expiration date and racking locations.
Accurately and efficiently pick and load finished products in warehouse based on our Sales orders.
Communicate with upstream and downstream operations to maintain product flow and prevent distribution disruptions.
Ability to report and identify inventory issues as transactions are confirmed in the system.
Maintain housekeeping.

Position Qualifications: · 18 years of age or older · Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills · Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules. · High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience · One-year related experience (preferred).
Work Environment: In this position, the employee will regularly work with and around others; in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast paced. The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens. The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is $25.03.
