Operations & Facilities Manager – Chabad Center | Atlanta, GA · $100,000 + relocation & housing support

About the Role

This is the person who keeps the entire center running — the building, the events, the catering, and everything operational behind the scenes. From setting up for a holiday party to paying the electric bill to making sure the space is ready for the next community gathering, you'll own the full operation of the center and turn a hands-on, put-out-fires job into something organized, documented, and built to last.

Key Responsibilities

Building & Facilities Management

• Oversee day-to-day operation and upkeep of the building


• Manage maintenance and keep the physical space running smoothly


• Handle the operational backbone of the center — paying utility bills, managing vendors, and keeping everything on track


• Manage cleaning across multiple teams and keep their schedules coordinated

Catering & Events

• Manage catering for community programs and holiday celebrations


• Coordinate setup, breakdown, and logistics for events of all sizes


• Run point on community gatherings and holiday parties from planning through execution

Purchasing, Inventory & Systems

• Own all purchasing for the organization


• Build and maintain supply inventories, including master inventory lists for the holidays


• Create clear workflows, processes, and manuals for how the center runs


• Establish repeatable systems so operations don't depend on any one person

Qualifications

• Highly organized, with a real drive to manage and improve how things run


• Hands-on and proactive — comfortable being on your feet and fixing things as they come up


• Strong at building workflows and documentation from scratch


• Able to take ownership of situations that aren't already defined or documented


• Operations- and facilities-minded, with the range to juggle building, catering, and events at once


• Available to work on-site in urban-core Atlanta
