As a  Operations Parts Mover, you'll have responsibility in ensuring incoming materials are routed properly and our finished product is sent back to our customers in a timely manner.

What you'll do:

• A parts mover in the aerospace industry safely transports, organizes, and tracks aircraft components, raw materials, and tools between production shops, stockrooms, and shipping areas. 

• Key Responsibilities

• Material Transport: Move parts, tools, and assemblies between production floors, inspection areas, and storage rooms. 
• Inventory Tracking: Verify parts routers, scan locations accurately.
• Workflow Staging: Organize components in First-In, First-Out (FIFO) order to keep assembly and overhaul lines running without delay. 
• Equipment Operation: Use material-handling tools like carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work area following safety rules, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any production flow issues

• Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or material handling.
• Skills: Basic computer literacy, clear verbal and written communication, and strong attention to detail.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Screenings: Willingness to pass pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and sometimes FAA/DOT-mandated testing or baseline hearing
