Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes and associated controls.


• Transfer aluminum loads throughout the anodizing process.


• Position racks accurately within process tanks.


• Ensure smooth and controlled movement of suspended loads.


• Tilt racks as required for drainage between processing stages.


• Follow production travelers, work orders, and customer specifications.


• Maintain proper processing sequences and immersion times.


• Coordinate with production personnel and supervisors.


• Required PPE: Hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, chemical-resistant gloves


• Never allow personnel beneath suspended loads.


• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager 


• This position works in a manufacturing environment in all weather conditions 


• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment 


• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions 


• Bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel throughout shift and be able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions 


• Follow lockout/tagout requirements.


• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.


• Follow emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Previous overhead crane experience preferred.


• Manufacturing or anodizing experience preferred.


• 6 months to one year of experience in a fast-paced environment 


• Accurately uses and understands measuring tape 


• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions  


• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization  


• Verify loads are processed according to specifications.


• Report abnormalities affecting product quality.


• Prevent product damage through proper handling.


• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.


• Work around chemical processing operations.


• Maintain the production pace of other team members  


• Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties  


• Able to work weekends and overtime 


• Be willing to work in a manufacturing environment

The pay for this position is $23.48. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
