JOB LOCATION

JOB SUMMARY 

Perform a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of specialized equipment to assist physicians in the examination and treatment of diseases of the eye. Perform multiple ophthalmic imaging procedures including but not limited to color fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, slit lamp photography and basic ultrasonography. This position will train entry level photographers on digital fluorescein/ICG angiography (including performing IV injections and related patient care) and other modalities as dictated by clinic need.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• 
  

   Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, slit lamp photography, and OCT 

  
  


• Familiar with ophthalmic terminology with the ability to efficiently and accurately use and navigate electronic medical records systems. 


• Learning new modalities - external photography, OCTA, basic B-scan ultrasonography, basic UBM, ERGs, Microperimetry. 

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS 

• 
  

   Work requires an educational background generally equivalent to a high school education. 

  
  


• Basic ophthalmic imaging experience is preferred.


• 1 year of work-related experience in ophthalmic imaging is required.


• Basic Phlebotomy experience preferred. 


• Phlebotomy certification within 6 months of employment. 

JOB HOURS 

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
