Are you looking for more than just a job? Do you enjoy helping people, working with technology, and learning new clinical skills? Our private optometry practice is seeking a friendly, motivated, and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team.

We are a family-focused, high-performing practice providing state-of-the-art primary and medical eye care in a welcoming environment. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll work directly with patients and our doctors while learning valuable clinical skills and playing an important role in the care we provide.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare patients for their eye examinations
  • Review patient histories and gather important medical information
  • Perform diagnostic testing and pre-testing
  • Assist doctors with contact lens services, follow-up care, and treatment preparation
  • Help educate patients about contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention
  • Assist patients with eyewear, frame, and lens selections when needed
  • Support front-office operations including paperwork, scheduling, and phones
  • Provide friendly, attentive service throughout the patient experience

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Warm, professional personality with strong people skills
  • Dependable and eager to learn
  • Interest in learning clinical, optical, and patient-care skills
  • Desire to grow within the healthcare field

Job Type

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
  • No evenings or weekends
