Optometric Technician - West Haven, CT

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Medical Technician (Optometry) to provide coverage at this busy practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, and certification is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-testing procedures and collect patient health histories
• Assist optometrists during eye exams and procedures
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic/optometric equipment
• Educate patients about eye care, contact lens use, and eyewear
• Manage patient flow and support daily office functions
• Ensure accuracy in patient records and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
