Job Title: OR Manager/Surgical Service Manager

Location: Kearney, NE

Department/Unit: Surgical Services

Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and evaluate staff across the OR, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing Departments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to coordinate surgical services.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize department performance.
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for staff.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, equipment, and best practices.
• Manage departmental budgets and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the OR.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a surgical setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
