Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Orthopedic Technician is responsible for providing assistance to the medical and nursingstaff in the care of the orthopedic patients. Functions as an integral member of the patient care team. Under the supervision of aPhysician, Medical Practitioner, or Registered Nurse performs all duties related specifically to orthopedic practice as well as basicpatient care.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• College Graduate Preferred
• Orthopedic Technician training from an approved program or training through the Armed Forces
• Orthopedic Technician Certified (OCT)
• BLS
