Position Overview: As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.  

• Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments  
• Fit bands for appliances, place arch wires, bond brackets, place fixed retainers, take impressions and digital scans (iTero)  
• Patient education on care orthodontic instructions 
• Building relationships through connection with our patients

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred. 
• DANB x-ray certification or in process of being certified 
• 1+ year of experience working dental or orthodontic chairside setting. 
• Excellent communication skills with patients of all ages, parents, and teammates. 
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping patients have positive dental experiences. 
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Coachability
