PATIENT INFORMATION

Average Daily Volume: 2 -5 patients per day

Case Mix: Trauma, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, tendon ruptures

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Meditech, Allscripts

Support Staff Available: ER staff, OR staff

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 2 -4 weeks

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Any orthopedic OR procedures, stabilizations, splinting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC highly preferred, will accept truly BE

Licenses: ND license highly preferred, will accept Universal License (IMLC)

DEA: Highly preferred, required during credentialing

Certifications: BLS, ACLS required

Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history highly preferred; Self -Query NPDB report required

Duties & Responsibilities

Treat and manage orthopedic patients presenting to the ER

Perform orthopedic OR procedures

Perform stabilizations and splinting

Provide 24 -hour call coverage

Manage trauma, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, tendon ruptures
