PATIENT INFORMATION



  • Average Daily Volume: 2 -5 patients per day

  • Case Mix: Trauma, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, tendon ruptures


FACILITY INFORMATION



  • EMR System: Meditech, Allscripts

  • Support Staff Available: ER staff, OR staff


PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE



  • Credentialing Timeline: 2 -4 weeks


REQUIRED PROCEDURES


Any orthopedic OR procedures, stabilizations, splinting.


JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Board: BC highly preferred, will accept truly BE

  • Licenses: ND license highly preferred, will accept Universal License (IMLC)

  • DEA: Highly preferred, required during credentialing

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS required

  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history highly preferred; Self -Query NPDB report required


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Treat and manage orthopedic patients presenting to the ER

  • Perform orthopedic OR procedures

  • Perform stabilizations and splinting

  • Provide 24 -hour call coverage

  • Manage trauma, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, tendon ruptures
