PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Pediatric patients (ENT and Urology)
Average Daily Volume: 14 patients/day
Case Mix: Pediatric ENT (tonsil, adenoid, otitis media) and Pediatric Urology post -op visits

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 2 -3, PA/NPs: 2, Office Staff: 3

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Credentialing Timeline: Credentialing with payors required; targeting late August/September 1 start

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC or truly BE
Licenses: Licensed in OR
DEA: DEA required
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Experience in ENT required; Urology experience a plus. Preferred skills: flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, foreign body removal, wound assessment, suture removal.
Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide outpatient clinical care for pediatric ENT patients, including evaluation and management of tonsil, adenoid, and otitis media
Perform post -operative visits for pediatric urology patients
Conduct wound assessments and suture removal
Perform flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, and foreign body removal as needed
Document patient encounters in Epic EMR and coordinate care with supervising physicians
