Outside Sales Manager-Fayetteville, AR

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an Outside Sales Manager to lead market development and sales growth for our new branch in Fayetteville, AR. The Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for opening doors, winning new customers, developing key relationships, and building a territory that drives meaningful revenue growth for Spectra’s new Fayetteville branch.

They will have the opportunity to establish Spectra’s presence in the market early, create momentum across the territory, and directly influence how quickly the branch gains traction and grows.

The ideal candidate is a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys building business, developing relationships, and creating opportunities in a new market. This individual should be comfortable working independently in the field, prospecting consistently, navigating a developing territory, and partnering closely with branch and operational leadership to support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across Fayetteville and the surrounding market.
• Build Spectra’s local customer base through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry relationships, and self-generated leads.
• Establish a strong field presence by meeting with prospective and existing customers, conducting site visits, and building long-term relationships throughout the territory.
• Build and manage an active sales pipeline, progressing opportunities through the full sales cycle and maintaining accurate activity and opportunity data within the CRM.
• Monitor customer needs, competitor activity, pricing conditions, and market trends to identify new opportunities and strengthen Spectra’s position in the market.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and customer agreements in alignment with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Partner closely with branch leadership, operations, production, and distribution teams to support customer onboarding, order fulfillment, and overall service execution.
• Track territory performance and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, sales results, emerging opportunities, risks, and next-step priorities.

• 3–5 years of outside sales, territory sales, or business development experience preferred.
• Experience within building materials, construction products, manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or a related industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success generating new business, developing customer relationships, and growing revenue within an assigned territory.
• Experience building, expanding, or penetrating a new territory, market, or book of business strongly preferred.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity, maintain an active pipeline, and track sales opportunities.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to assess customer needs, market conditions, competitive activity, and territory opportunities to support revenue growth.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and maintain a consistent field presence in a fast-paced, developing market.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with branch operations, sales leadership, production, distribution, and other cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
