What You'll Do 

As an Outside Sales & Business Development Representative, you'll build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, identify growth opportunities, and represent our company in the field. You'll meet with clients, generate new business, and work closely with the team to achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Develop and execute a business plan to grow territory sales
• Aggressively identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
• Prospect daily through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person customer visits
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers and position Haun Specialty Gases as their preferred supplier
• Grow sales and gross profit by converting prospects into loyal customers
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales goals
• Partner with branch operations, logistics, and customer service to deliver exceptional customer experience

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for a motivated, self-driven professional with strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, enjoys meeting new people, can work independently, and has a passion for helping customers find the right solutions.

• A proven hunter with a history of generating new business and exceeding sales goals
• Experience selling medical and specialty gases or related solutions within the scientific, medical and high-tech market space
• Confidence making cold calls and opening new accounts
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to win
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Physical Requirements

• Ability to drive and travel regularly within the assigned sales territory
• Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Enter and exit a vehicle multiple times per day
• Occasionally lift and carry product samples, marketing materials, or equipment up to 25–50 pounds
• Bend, reach, stoop, and climb stairs as needed during customer visits 
• Use a computer, tablet, and mobile phone for extended periods
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication with customers and team members
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record
