Job Description - Packer Floor Operator

Description
Skilled role responsible for operating advanced packaging systems, optimizing line performance, and leading minor troubleshooting and improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

Ability to troubleshoot equipment, read technical manuals, and use measurement tools.

Familiarity with computerized systems (HMI, SCADA, etc.) is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience preferred.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

3�5 years of experience operating packaging machinery.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated packaging lines.

Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and coordinate with maintenance.

Lead small teams or shifts in absence of supervisor.

Maintain inventory of packaging supplies and notify when restocking is needed.

Work with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance.

Support improvement projects and training of junior operators.

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High level of safety and quality

Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)

Good problem-solving skills

Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred

Forklift experience - Preferred

Computer Software - Preferred

Warehouse experience - Preferred
