Reports To

The Painter will report to the Paint Foreman.

Job Summary

The Painter at Electrical Power Products, Inc. will be responsible for operating necessary equipment to paint materials properly according to company standards and specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Wash, prime, sand, and paint panels, frames, and other materials.
• Electrostatic powder and operate baking oven to Electrical Power Products, Inc. specifications.
• Maintain painting equipment, control paint room inventory and record usage and quantities of materials used on jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Painting experience preferred.
• Experience in using manual tools.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and values attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effort.
• Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling.
• Commonly lifting/moving of up to 40 lbs. individually.
• Occasionally lifting/moving 50-100 lbs. with assistance.
• Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
