Painter

OVERVIEW:

: Review and give the final detail to painted pieces.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and hang the pieces received from the production area to send them to the painting process.


• Review and interpret paint color codes.


• Perform the operation according to work instructions, specifications, and/or visual aids that apply and for which it is required.


• Inspect the finished product to see if it needs touch-ups and paint with a special color.


• Enter orders to be sent to painting.
  Keeping the paint guns clean and air holes


• Prepare surfaces as needed for quality craftsmanship


• Changing the filters when needed


• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.


• Cross-training and knowledge share with peers.


• Knowing when the units need to be touch up


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent


• Must pass respirator fit exam


• Must complete Certified Hazardous Waste Manifests (RCRA Training)


• Knowledge of air guns


• Manuel Skill


• Teamwork
