Palantir Developer

Develop new and existing technologies and software solutions using front-end and/or back-end skillsets. Provide technical guidance in collaboration with software developers and customers throughout the product’s development.

• Develop and deploy data-driven applications, pipelines, and workflows that will serve content to thousands of users across the Department of Defense (DoD) using the Palantir platform (Foundry and/or Gotham).
• Architect and build out the Palantir Ontology, integrating disparate data sources and developing scalable data pipelines using best practices in data engineering.
• Software and data solutions will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, architects, and systems engineers.
• Perform mid-level development, testing, analysis, and validation of Palantir workflows, data pipelines, and user-facing applications.
• Collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices and ensuring a high-quality standard.
• Familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and version control within the Palantir environment.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field required. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools.
• Experience developing data pipelines or software using Python, PySpark, SQL, and/or TypeScript.
• Experience debugging code and troubleshooting complex data integration issues.
• Experience in Palantir development (Foundry or Gotham), including data transformation and Ontology configuration. Palantir certification is highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Communication skills to interface with government and contractors to represent technical and programmatic positions.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
