We're hiring full-time W-2 Paraprofessional to support K–12 students in the school setting for the 2025–2026 school year. Whether you’ve worked in schools, pediatric care, or another hands-on support role, we’d love to connect with you. Position Details

• Caseload: 1:1 or small group student support (Middle School)


• Schedule: Monday – Friday


• Hours: 30–40 hours/week


• Dates: August 2026 – May 2027


• Location: Onsite in Manor, TX schools

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs


• Support students in the classroom and during school activities


• Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by staff or medical teams


• Document services and share observations with the support team


• Promote student safety, independence, and dignity


• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses to meet student needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)


• Must hold an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualified endorsement, which can be obtained by meeting one of the following:


• Associate degree or higher (or at least two years of college coursework—48 semester or 72 quarter hours)


• Passing the ParaPro assessment (state-approved paraprofessional exam, Ohio passing score is 456)


• Experience working with children or students with special needs (preferred)


• Ability to follow medical, behavioral, and personal care protocols


• Dependable, patient, and compassionate, with strong communication and collaboration skills


• Must pass background check and any school-specific onboarding requirements
