Join a Team That Helps Families Heal and Stay Together
At Brigid Collins Family Support Center, we believe every child deserves safety, connection, and the opportunity to thrive. We partner with families facing significant stressors, including trauma, behavioral health challenges, and involvement with the child welfare system, to provide compassionate, evidence-based support that strengthens families and improves outcomes for children.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Parenting Therapist to join our Parenting Academy team. This position works closely with families involved with DCYF, including parents with open dependency cases, to provide intensive parenting support, therapeutic services, and evidence-based interventions designed to increase family stability and reduce the risk of out-of-home placement.
This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed care, parent–child relationships, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
What You’ll Do
As a Parenting Therapist I, you will provide family-centered, strengths-based services that help caregivers build safer, healthier, and more connected relationships with their children.
You will work directly with families involved in the child welfare system, often navigating complex challenges including trauma, mental health concerns, behavioral difficulties, substance use recovery, domestic violence, and reunification planning.
