Parking Staff - 2026 NY State Fair

Syracuse Parking Services is now hiring enthusiastic and customer service-oriented seasonal Parking Staff for the 2026 New York State Fair from Wednesday August 26 - Monday, September 7.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing an exceptional guest experience to event attendees parking in the facility
• Partnering with police and leadership to direct traffic entering and exiting the lot in a safe and organized manner
• Answering guest questions and providing directions and information
• Using electronic ticketing equipment to scan and validate credentials and pre-paid parking tickets, as well as process the onsite purchase of parking tickets by credit/debit card.

• Ability to perform basic math
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time in variable weather
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities
• Must be over 14 years old with proper working papers

This position may not accept tips.
