Parts Counterperson

Landers Toyota, a leading automotive dealership in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Counterperson. This is a full-time, hourly sales position with room for advancement within our organization. As a Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately identify and locate parts for customers using our computerized inventory system
- Communicate with technicians and other dealership employees to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests
- Process parts orders and invoices using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Check incoming inventory against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to management
- Keep up-to-date on all technical and promotional information related to the parts department
- Attend training sessions and workshops as required to continually improve product knowledge and customer service skills
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures and practices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
