Job Description - Parts Counterperson

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. In this role, you will assist retail customers, wholesale clients, and service technicians in identifying, ordering, and purchasing the right automotive parts and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing: Look up parts using electronic catalogs, submit special orders, and track shipments.
Customer Service: Help walk-in customers, phone callers, and shop technicians find the correct vehicle parts.
Inventory Management: Pull parts from stock, handle returns, maintain bin locations, and monitor shelf stock.
Sales & Billing: Prepare over-the-counter invoices, handle payments, and issue proper credits.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in automotive parts sales.
Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and vehicle systems.
Skills: Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
