About The Opportunity


We are experiencing explosive growth and looking to add hard working, motivated and skilled individuals to our highly dedicated teams within our large and growing geographic footprint. As a Parts Runner, you will support fleet, shop, and field operations by picking up, delivering, receiving, and organizing parts, supplies, tools, and related materials. This role helps keep equipment maintenance and operational work moving by coordinating with mechanics, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining accurate records, and providing safe, dependable transportation and material handling support.


That means that you will be expected to:



  • Picks up, delivers, and transports parts, supplies, tools, and related materials between vendors, Company locations, shops, and jobsites in support of operational and maintenance needs.

  • Coordinates with mechanics, supervisors, and other team members to confirm part requirements, delivery priorities, and timing expectations.

  • Receives, verifies, stages, labels, and distributes incoming parts and materials and reports discrepancies, damage, or shortages to the appropriate personnel.

  • Assists with inventory organization, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and general parts room, warehouse, yard, or shop support activities.

  • Maintains delivery logs, receipts, packing slips, and other required documentation to support accurate tracking, cost control, and recordkeeping.

  • Inspects and maintains assigned Company vehicles, trailers, and basic material handling equipment to help ensure safe, clean, and reliable operation.

  • Supports field and shop teams with loading, unloading, and moving parts, equipment, and materials in accordance with Company safety expectations.

  • Builds and maintains professional working relationships with vendors, internal customers, and other business partners during routine pickups and deliveries.

  • Uses sound judgment to manage changing priorities, route adjustments, and urgent operational requests while communicating status updates as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • This position does not have formal people-management responsibilities but is expected to work cooperatively with mechanics, operations personnel, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.

  • Must be able to lift and move parts, tools, and materials up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, shop, yard, road, and jobsite conditions.

  • This position works in a combination of vehicle, shop, warehouse, yard, office, and field environments and requires regular movement between Company locations, vendor sites, and jobsites based on business need.

  • Success in this role requires flexibility, dependability, and close coordination with mechanics, fleet and operations personnel, purchasing contacts, and vendor representatives.

  • Frequent local travel to vendors, shops, yards, Company locations, and jobsites is required based on business need.

  • Occasional travel throughout our operating region including overnight and multi day trips may be required; must maintain eligibility to drive for Company business.


In order to join our team, here’s what we will need from you:



  • Strong commitment to safe driving, safe material handling, and compliance with Company policies and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, or maintenance-related parts and supplies preferred.

  • Ability to organize deliveries, prioritize multiple requests, and follow through with accuracy and urgency.

  • Strong attention to detail in receiving, labeling, tracking, and documenting parts and materials.

  • Effective verbal communication skills and a professional customer service approach with vendors and internal teams.

  • Ability to operate pickup trucks, vans, trailers, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other basic material handling equipment, or the ability to learn.

  • Basic computer and mobile device skills, including the ability to use email, maps, inventory tools, or related systems for communication and tracking.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • One or more years of experience in delivery, warehouse, parts, fleet, shop, construction, or other operational support work preferred.

  • Experience working with vehicle, equipment, or maintenance parts and vendors preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements for business travel required.

  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification may be required.


About You


This is an entry level position, and as such you are most likely a high school graduate (or equivalent) with at least one year of experience in delivery, warehouse, parts, fleet, shop, construction, or other operational support work preferred, including working with vehicle, equipment, or maintenance parts and vendors. You excel in customer service and communication with team members as well as vendors. You may also be recently separated from Military service and looking for an opportunity that will value your self-discipline and standards for safety and excellence.
