Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Responds to requests from Field Mechanics or Dispatch to deliver parts in the field as directed, planning and mapping the best route, arriving within the scheduled timeframe 98% of the time.


2. Delivers parts from Shop or parts vendors, as required.


3. Builds and maintains working relationships with parts vendors.


4. Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.


5. Punches in and out for each shift and meal period with no more than 1 error per quarter.


6. Provides excellent customer service, for both internal and external customers.


7. Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times.


8. Follows all OSHA, DOT, and other safety guidelines.


9. Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to meeting deadlines.


10. Adheres to company safety standards at all times, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred during the prior 12-month period.


11. Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

1. High School Diploma or GED.


2. Current, valid Class C driver’s license.


3. Minimum of one year experience as a delivery person.


4. Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.


5. Must be able to follow directions.


6. Must be a team player.


7. Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.


8. Position spends approximately 10% of time climbing in and out of vehicle to obtain parts from Shop or vendors. Position spends approximately 90% of the time sitting and driving the service truck.


9. Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range.


10. Ability to manage stress.


11. Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays.


12. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machines and chemicals at various times. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
