Parts Sales Specialist

The Parts Sales Specialist serves as a key customer contact and trusted advisor for Virnig Manufacturing’s dealer network and end users. This position combines customer service, product knowledge, and proactive inside sales to grow aftermarket parts revenue, strengthen dealer relationships, and help customers find the right parts and solutions to keep their equipment running.

This role supports Virnig’s dealer network through quoting, order processing, product support, and proactive outbound calls to existing customers and dealers. The Parts Sales Specialist works closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Shipping to deliver accurate, timely solutions and an exceptional customer experience. 

Sales & Dealer Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Virnig's authorized dealer network.
• Conduct   proactive outbound calls to follow up on quotes, identify parts needs, generate repeat business and increase aftermarket sales.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and recommend products that provide value to customers.
• Follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to improve quote-to-order conversion.
• Understand dealer needs and purchasing patterns to identify future sales opportunities.
• Provide knowledgeable, responsive and solution-focused customer support.

Customer Support & Order Management

• Provide professional support to dealers and end users by phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotes for replacement parts, attachments, wear items and related   products.
• Process customer orders accurately, including pricing, shipping and billing   information.
• Assist   customers in identifying the correct replacement parts based on equipment and application.
• Recommend parts and products that improve equipment performance and minimize downtime. Manage website inquiries, inbound leads and customer requests.
• Resolve customer concerns and communicate proactively throughout the order process.

Team & Product Support

• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Customer   Service to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote and sales information in Salesforce or other CRM   systems.
• Develop strong knowledge of Virnig products, attachments, trailers, replacement parts   and equipment applications.
• Provide customer and product feedback and recommend opportunities to improve service, efficiency and aftermarket sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• Associate’s degree or college coursework in business, sales, marketing, or a related   field preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, parts sales, customer service, aftermarket support or a related field preferred.
• Experience in construction, compact equipment, agriculture, trailers or manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of equipment, hydraulic attachments or replacement parts is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and grow revenue.
• Comfortable making frequent outbound phone calls and communicating professionally with customers.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment, parts and applications.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple quotes, orders and customer requests while maintaining accuracy.
• Self-motivated, dependable and results oriented.
• Collaborative team player committed to continuous improvement. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and communicating by phone.
• Ability to move throughout the office and manufacturing facility, including stairs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of materials or equipment up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and by phone.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems. 

$52,000-$62,000 yearly salary plus bonus potential.
