Pastry Cook

BallenIsles Country Club, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pastry Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Responsibilities:

• Participate in the production and preparation of fresh cakes, pastries, and desserts


• Responsible for pastry production for the dining room and all other functions in the club as instructed by Pastry Chef


• Follow pastry-related recipes and ingredient purchase specifications


• Decorate pastry items for special events such as buffets and receptions


• Maintain the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards


• Assists in planning, preparing, and/or decorating special pastry items as necessary


• Assists in the monthly inventory


• Monitors control to minimize food and supply waste and theft


• Must comply with all health and safety guidelines


• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record

Qualifications:

• Can-do attitude, demonstrating a level of passion and dedication where no task is beneath you


• Working knowledge of baking


• Ability to measure correctly, proper mixing and blending skills are required


• Ability to work independently as well as within a team


• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
   


• Have extensive knowledge of cooking temperatures and general food safety regulations


• Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

Compensation:

• $24.00- $28.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
