Job Description
- Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
- Work directly with inventors, engineers, scientists, and business leaders to protect innovative technologies.
- Analyze complex technical inventions in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics.
- Draft high-quality patent applications with clear, strategic claim coverage.
- Respond to Office Actions and develop effective prosecution strategies.
- Conduct patentability analyses and collaborate on intellectual property portfolio development.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal guidance.
- Contribute to a collaborative team focused on technical excellence and client success.
Qualifications
- Active Bar license in any U.S. state.
- 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
- Technical background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Strong patent drafting and prosecution writing skills.
- Excellent technical comprehension and analytical ability.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Advanced degree or industry experience is a plus but not required.
