Pathology Physician - Travel Assignment

We are seeking a qualified Pathologist Physician to provide onsite pathology and laboratory services at a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is ideal for candidates committed to delivering state -of -the -art care and adhering to nationally recognized standards established by the American Board of Pathology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high -quality pathology and laboratory services onsite.
  
• Evaluate and diagnose 10 -12 patients per day.
  
• Utilize the CPRS EMR system with standard clinic note templates and Dragon Dictation.
  
• Comply with all infection control protocols, including COVID -19 precautions.
  
• Adhere to all facility guidelines, including training, credentialing, and privileging requirements.
  

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  
• Minimum contract duration of 1 year.

Requirements:

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Pathology (ABPath).
  
• Current Medical License (valid in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth).
  
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pathology Physician.
  
• Ability to pass credentialing and privileging requirements.
  
• Compliance with all vaccination requirements, including:
  • Tuberculosis testing (TST/IGRA).
    
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity.
    
  • Varicella immunity.
    
  • Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccination.
    
  • Annual Influenza vaccine.
    
  • COVID -19 vaccination or adherence to facility policies.
