Patient Account Representative - PRN

This flexible, as-needed role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team, takes pride in staying organized, and finds fulfillment in helping others. You'll play a meaningful part in creating a positive experience for patients and coworkers alike. PRN team members are an important part of our hospital family, stepping in with flexible availability to provide coverage during staff absences, busy times, or special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register patients in a timely and accurate manner


• Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism


• Verify and update patient and insurance information


• Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general office support


• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to patients, staff, and visitors


• Complete other duties as assigned to support the department as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Able to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment


• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
