Job Description

Are you an experienced Manager or Supervisor of Healthcare Billing and Revenue Cycle functions seeking a great career opportunity? Daily Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be overseeing a team of insurance billing and collections specialists, ensuring compliance and guidelines are followed for facilities and payors. This will be involved in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing fulltime staff. The Patient Accounts Manager oversees daily responsibilities involve analyzing cash and/or aging variances, and providing explanations and plans of action to address shortfalls. **Those without some prior Management, Supervisory, or seasoned Team Lead experience from a CBO setting can NOT be considered.

Shift: Monday-Friday / 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

  • 3+ RECENT years of Management or Supervisory experience from a large hospital or Revenue Cycle Management firm
  • Experience managing 25+ direct reports in a Central Billing Office setting
  • Strong leadership skills with reflective written/verbal communication
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare A/R, collections, insurance, appeals and understanding of payor Compliance Guidelines
  • Understanding of payor contracts and commercial / government guidelines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
