Patient Authorization and Referral Representative - Outpatient Registration at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX

Under the direction of the JACC Business Operations Manager this position is primarily responsible for the intake of new consultations.  This job scope includes collecting all patient demographics, clinical medical records, and pertinent insurance information. This position should be knowledgeable about financial clearance.

• 1 year of healthcare office experience.  2 years preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of healthcare office experience
• Customer service experience including answering a multi-line phone system

• Patient registration and scheduling experience in a medical setting
