Shift Details: Full time, Day shift, 40 hours a week

The Patient Schedule schedules EEGs/procedures cases for pediatric and adult departments.  Independently makes decisions in relation to schedule adjustments based upon the policies and unit standards related to scheduling of cases.  To assume the role this individual requires knowledge of how the clinics and inpatient neurology areas function as well as the physicians' preferences.  Works closely with management team as a resource and for consultation on scheduling conflicts/issues.  Schedules studies accurately with complete detail in order to ensure patients are safe.  Follows process module for patient scheduling as outlined.

• 3 years of experience with computerized case scheduling for operating rooms or procedure area.


• 3 years of Recent secretarial experience with medical/surgical terminology in a hospital or medical office setting.
