We are hiring for a Full-Time Float Patient Service Representative for the Admitting Department in Dayton, WA!

We are seeking a flexible and dependable Patient Service Representative to support our Admitting Department in a 32–40 hour per week float position. This role includes patient registration, insurance verification, charge entry, payment processing, answering phones, maintaining accurate records, and providing front desk support.

While the schedule will typically consist of day shifts Monday through Friday, flexibility is required to help meet department needs, including some weekends and occasional evenings. CCHS operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, making adaptability and teamwork an important part of this position.

Compensation and Benefits:



  • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
    Full-Time: 32–40 hour per week, day-shift float position. While typical hours will primarily be Monday through Friday, flexibility is required based on department needs. This position may include some weekends and occasional evening shifts. CCHS operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so availability to help cover varying schedules is an important part of this role.

Qualifications



  • Administrative office experience preferred



  • Healthcare experience is a plus!

     



Key Responsibilities



  • Welcome patients and visitors and provide professional, compassionate customer service



  • Complete patient registration and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information



  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain required information or authorizations as needed



  • Answer and route phone calls and assist with patient inquiries



  • Collect and process payments while maintaining accurate financial records



  • Complete charge entry and assist with departmental reports



  • Prepare, scan, file, and maintain patient and insurance documentation



  • Maintain office and departmental supplies



  • Protect patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA requirements



  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient hospital operations
