Patient Sitter - Telesitter - Per Diem Day

Patient Sitter - Telesitter  at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.

Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. First line of action is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors.

Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance by communication device or STAT Alert Alarm (if appropriate). Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.


• Basic Microsoft windows experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of any CNA or NA program or demonstrated equivalence in a healthcare position.
