Patient Support Insurance Services Coordinator

Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday - Friday, hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote) 

Reporting to the Client Support Services Manager, the Client Support Services Coordinator (Entry-Level) supports the day-to-day operations of the Client Support Services team by assisting clients, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating routine service needs. This role is ideal for someone building experience in healthcare or behavioral health operations and provides foundational exposure to client support, compliance, and internal coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Assistance

• Serve as a first point of contact for basic client inquiries via phone, email, or internal systems.
• Assist clients with onboarding steps, documentation collection, and general program navigation.
• Escalate complex client issues to senior staff or leadership as appropriate.

Administrative Support

• Enter, update, and maintain accurate client information in CMS systems.
• Assist with intake packets, authorizations, and required forms.
• Support tracking client requests and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.

Compliance & Quality Support

• Follow CMS policies, HIPAA guidelines, and documentation standards.
• Report potential quality of care or service concerns to leadership.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and training as assigned.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Senior Coordinators and leadership to learn workflows and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare support, or administrative roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CMS internet engines.

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree or coursework in healthcare, social services, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or client-facing roles.
